ok, so we’re not licenced pilots as you can tell. we actually crashed a few times. went flying with a friend on some simulators. pretty cool!

My friend has been playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and X for a couple weeks now. He is 100% confident that now, if the scenario arises, he has the ability to safely pilot a Boeing 747 or an AirBus and land it safely, with guidance from ATC.

He is 23 years old, with 0 flying experience on any type of aircraft.

My question is, can you fly a real plane, basing your experience solely on MS Flight Sim?
