Based on the news reports and my knowledge of aviation and simulation, I have created a simulation of the last few minutes of the Cory Lidle flight. The simulation depicts the exact aircraft Cory was flying and takes into account reported altitudes, directions, visibility & cloud base, as well as eye witness reports.

Courtesy PASSUR/AGI www.passur.com PASSUR(R) Captures Data for Flight Path of US Airways Flight 1549 Made Available to Investigators Minutes After Plane Lands on Hudson River Wednesday February 11, 12:00 pm ET GREENWICH, Conn., Feb. 11 /prnewswire-firstcall/ — PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PSSR – News) announced today that it had provided the exact data points for the flight track of US Airways Flight 1549 to the investigators researching the incident, from its departure at laguardia Airport to its descent into the Hudson River. The data, with passur’s 4.6 second update rate, was available within seconds of the event, and provided to investigators and US Airways within minutes. A high resolution animation of the flight, created with passur’s partner Analytical Graphics, Inc. (www.agi.com) is now available on passur’s home page at www.passur.com. “As we have done many times before, we collaborated closely with accident investigators, and in this case with US Airways, in providing data and analytics derived from our national network of PASSUR radar and our live aviation database,” said Jim Barry, President and CEO of PASSUR Aerospace. “And, as always — because information security is our number-one priority, and because of the unique nature of our data — we wait until we have concurrence from investigators and the airline before releasing our data to the public. We are pleased to make the simulation of this extraordinary flight available to the public at

United Flt 585 Airplane Simulation Cockpit View United Airlines Flight 585 Colorado Springs, CO March 3, 1991 Boeing 737-200 The reconstruction exhibit selected data from the Flight Data Recorder, simulations, and edited comments from the Cockpit Voice Recorder transcripts. These simulations do not depict the weather or visibility conditions at the time of each event. The cockpit simulations are modeled on a Boeing 737-300 cockpit interior. The simulations were developed as an educational aid; wherever possible, however, the scaling and motions were modeled after those of the Boeing 737 event being studied.
