Wake turbulence is turbulence that forms behind an aircraft as it passes through the air. This turbulence includes various components, the most important of which are wingtip vortices and jetwash. Wingtip vortices can remain in the air for up to three minutes after the passage of an aircraft. Wingtip vortices make up the primary and most dangerous component of wake turbulence. This is a simulation using X-Plane with a T-6 on a formation flight at 10000ft and 140kt.

You haven’t surveyed “the greater majority if simmers.” Give me a break.
Microsoft fired the team working on Flight Simulator as part of their preannounced 2009 job cuts. Being “committed to the franchise” is PR speak. You’re not committed to a franchise if you fire the studio that’s working on it.
“Non-mind requiring games?” Ignoring your odd grammar, the fact you’re fishing through my profile because I pointed out the truth that Flight Simulator is dead kind of creeps me out. Please don’t reply anymore.
Think as you wish.
Do you know Peter Hager airbuses or XPjets 777. Check them on goolge or watch at my vids, you’ll be very surprised.
Even if XPlae has plenty of good airplane makers, the fact is that we don’t know xplane as much as FS, so autor as well
they cant even come close to competing with x plane, do u know what the wake turb. in fs is? get close to a plane and fall out of the sky. Air speed simply drops to zero. ALso, x plane runs much better on mid performance computers, gfx quality is lower sure but still very nice and realistic, and of course, playable framerates. overall it makes you just want to go up and fly. If you dont belive me, just whatch som x plane and fsx vids, you should see the different flying styles.
it was only cancelled because they new that they wouldnt make a better version of fsx (which is amazing) tyhat wouldnt take up more space on your compy.
Haha…no. It was cancelled because Microsoft has been going through a series of layoffs all year long.
to be honest, ive done some research over the past couple of days, and it seems fsx was really focused on the visual aspects of flying while most of the people that bought fsx could only experience maybe a third of its visual potential, and now that i see how realistic and in depth the flight dynamics are in X-plane are, in my opinion it outweighs the the graphics of fsx (even on a standard gaming pc) plus in my opinion x-plane seems to have more potential
I just recently purchased x-plane and it is my opinion that the standard C172 in FSX flies more realistically than the one included in x-plane. It seemed way too twitchy/loose even in in calm weather at high airspeeds.
i feel the same way.. the only thing x-plane needs to kick fsx’s ass is terminals at every big airport with working gateways and generic terminals at all the smaller airports
Yes I agree! The flying characteristics in X plane 9 are phenomenal. They certainly did their homework when they made X plane 9. X plane has some bugs they need to work out, but it is still a phenomenal game for those ready to move on after FSX.
I have the X-Plane 9.2 demo!
This man wants a medal!
Quick… someone give him one… im fresh out!
I often enjoy relaxing piano music while fighting turbulence in a hard-handling fighter plane. It helps me to plunge screaming into the terrain in an uncontrollable low-alt roll-spin with grace and calm.
too bad fsx is unrealistic, maybe a one third of realism is planted into the game, i wana get xplane and give it a ry but do u need to install the 60 gb scenery?
Nope! You can choose whatever area in the world you want to install (60gb is for the whole world).
cheers
Does X-Plane have online multiplayer capability?
@UNSClead1 Yes, but this was not made online.
@bachian oh rlly cool i was almost gonna give up on x-plane
yeah but the scenery looks awesome!!!
how you did so that it may be the forces acting on the plane?
@papirus00000 Just press the “/” key on X-Plane.
thans,man!
